• 15 miles or two person relay one "creek" crossing
• Semi-developed dirt roads, through the infamous Omer Plains, home of the Witchy Wolf, a few miles of asphalt.
• 6:30 p.m. that’s right p.m. start.
• Full of the moon January19^th, 2013
• Headlight and taillight required.
• Surprises, some support, wild animals and more
• Encounters with the wolf guaranteed
• Reward if you capture the wolf
• Notification of next of kin, if the wolf captures you

Here we go again another night to remember with the wolf pack!!! 

You know the story.  For decades the Witchy Wolf has roamed the wilderness known as the Omer Plains.  The Witchy Wolf’s habitat, divided by the Rifle River, contains vast stretches, of woods traveled only by the Wolf himself.  This creature is rarely seen, but often is hunted by teenagers into the wee hours of the night. The only tangible evidence of its existence seems to be a trail of empty beer cans and young ladies with their pants, scared off, literally. Still the sightings continue, the legend continues.  Our hope is that with so many easy targets the Wolf will come out for an easy snack and finally a specimen can be captured.

I know that running a race is a potentially dangerous activity, especially this one. I should not enter and or run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of any race official relative to my ability to safely complete this event. I assume all risk associated with this event including, but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, traffic, conditions of the course and contact or attack by animals, wild, domestic, real and or mythical, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry fee. I for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the organizers, sponsors, their representatives, successors and any and all persons associated or unassociated with the race from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event.

Check in starts at 4:00p.m. at Old Courthouse downtown Omer  The runner, running  the second leg will take the "team vehicle" to the first relay exchange point, Crystal Creek Campground, using the following route. From Omer take US 23 south to Sterling Rd.  Turn right onto Sterling Rd. continue West to Grove St., four way stop with flashing light. Turn right onto Grove St. continue north to Crystal Creek. Park in designated area.  Leave keys in predetermine location, or handoff at exchange.  Start at "Superman" corner: Clark and Kent behind Sundea's Afternoon. Finish at post office
